Ebay selling 2TB drives from China for $18.50?

These things have to be counterfiet. Right? I was about to buy one of them, but there’s just this sick pit in my gut that says it will be disastrous. However, there are a bunch of them sold on Ebay right now. Between these two listings, there’s about 400+ sold currently in the last two days.

Anyone know anything about them?

I’d be suspicious of them being stolen or something else stuffed in the WD enclosure.

I am agree with Joe and another thing, those drives from ebay are out of warranty, DO NOT BUY THOSE DRIVES … you better buy them on a retailer store or from the WD Storewebsite

That’s pretty funny. Last year I was looking on Seagate forum and there were a few people who opened the sealed box with a new drive and there was a bad smell. When they had the drive opened  it was full of old coffee grounds.
