Error Uninstalling and Installing SmartWare

Hi,

I just recently downloaded SmartWare to my computer. I noticed that there was an upgrade available, so I upgraded it. Unfortunately the upgrade file was corrupt and damaged my SmartWare bringing it to its original version. Now when I access SmartWare it shows my computer but not my passport, and the registry files and all are still there. So I go to uninstall program and click uninstall SmartWare and get the following error message:

“There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor” - “Fatal Error Has Occured”

Then the uninstallation bar drops and my SmartWare is still there!

AND

When I try to upgrade my SmartWare again, its giving me error code 1603 and is denying me from upgrading it!

PLEASE HELP!
