I have a MyCloud EX2 unit. I bought a new home laptop running windows 10. I changed the settings to allow me to map my WD drives. I have 1 drive WD NAS from about 8 years ago that is mapped and accessible via its IP Address to get to its dashboard. My EX2 is mapped but with no dashboard access.
I also have a EX2 with RAID1 for a pair of 2 TB drives. That unit is mapped and I can access files, but I cannot access the dashboard. when I type in the IP Address, I get the notice that the browser cannot access the drive. I’ve tried on Chrome, Edge, and Internet Explorer. It seems a weird issue to have a mapped drive that cannot be accessed via IP to reach the dashboard.
The EX2 itself had been unaccessible for a couple of months, but recently started working, so I’m just straight up copying all the data onto the older NAS just to confirm I have copies of all the data. That’s an issue itself in that the transfer speeds are less than 2MB/s across a substantial data set, which seems like an incredibly slow transfer rate for hard wired drive connections on Cat5e cables and a gig switch.
