EX4 Active Directory troubles Joining Samba Domain Controller

I have set up a Samba Active Directory and Domain Controller on a Raspberry Pi using one of your 340GB piDrives. I have been able to join this Domain from two WD DS4000s and two Windows 10 workstations, and it is working great. However, I have not been able to join this domain from my two WD MyCloud EX4s. The one thought I’m having is that when configuring the Active Directory it is asking for a fully qualified domain name. With the other computers that have joined I have used the NetBIOS name and it worked. I have used SSH into the EX4s, and looked at the smb.conf file, but it looks like you guys and girls have locked this down so you don’t want me to mess with it this way. So at this time I have not messed with it.
