Hi,
I’ve recently switched from 4TB WD My Cloud 2017 to 8TB WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra and update to OS5.
After a very long file transfer and slow indexing (it took 35days to complete with approx. 900GB files), it finally run well until i tried to reorganise the files & folders.
i don’t know how to name it.
but, this is my real problem is:
when I do changes from one device eg. mac (moving folders or files/rename files) to NAS WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra, it won’t reflect instantly in my other devices as well as on os5.mycloud.com.
It also happens if i made change from ipad, it won’t show instantly in iphone nor mac.
I have to reboot and initiate the indexing till it reflect to other devices.
It is frustating me since I plan to move my files & folders including photo on my mobiles, then deleted.
It never happened when I am using 4TB WDMYCLOUD.
I was happy back then till WD release OS5 and the 4TB WDMYCLOUD has started slow behaviour every time I access it and bulk file copy was impossible.
So, the WD staff said i should upgrade and i did so and here i am with new problem and they could not solve.
All my devices connect to the NAS : macbook, ipad, iphone, windows surface.
does anyone have same problem and find the solution? really need help, my phone & tablet are full. really appreciate an assistant here & thank you
