Finder SLOW opening folders - Lion

Transferring files is really slow, but I can deal with that.

Why does it take so long to just see the folders/files within the folders on my MyBook Live?

It doesn’t happen on any folders locally, but I assume it could still have something to do with Lion. I’d really just like to know whether it’s a Mac problem or a MyBook problem.

When you say takes long… How much time is that?

Have you tried connecting the drive direct to the computer and test?

I have the same problem. Just reinstalled OS Lion as suggested by Apple. same folders and files with Virtual Machine Win7 32bit on the same iMac and also from a Win7 64bit does not appear have problems.

I cannot connect MyBookLive with USB, only Eth.
