Folder structure

I want to use the media library and create movie info.

Would it be best to keep all movies each in his own folder, or just put the avi and mkv files in 1 folder so I have clean movie covers in the video section?

otherwise I first get a folder icon for each movie, so no global view of all covers right?

it’s entirely up to your own personal preference how you wnat to organaize your media …

but, i will say this …  _ metadata _ eg. Movie info (plot,genre,actors etc) and Movie Backdrops (in Gallery View)

will Not Display for Folders

eg. you won’t see this …  (movie info and backdrop)

personally … i just got One folder called “Movies” and i throw everything in there.

another popular method is create “Genre” folders eg. Action / Adventure / Sci-Fi etc…
