Folder won't delete and new folders won't appear

I mistakenly put a folder containing 5524 photos in the shared pictures folder in the public share on the My Book Live drive.

That folder appears as an active folder on the IPhone and Ipad WDPhotos apps even though it was removed from the public folder on the drive almost two weeks ago.

I have cleared the cache on the Iphone and Ipad but the folder that should no longer be there still shows up.  Also a new folder containing only about 50 jpeg images was placed in the shared pictures folder on the drive but it doesn’t show up on any of the devices using the WDPhotos apps.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The WD Photos cache is only cleared if you go through the First Time Setup again. On the multi-tasking iOS devices you must double-tap the apple button, scroll through the running apps list until you find WD Photos, then hold-press the app until you see the red “-” symbol near it. Pressing the “-” symbol will stop the app. You may then toggle the Clear Cache under Settings > WD Photos to “On,” then restart the WD Photos app.

OK thanks,  I just uninstalled and then reinstalled the app and that also seemed to enable clearing the cache.
