Frimware update v04 to v2

Hello

I want to update my MyCloud firmware to v2

Current version is v04.05.00-315
The ‘Check for update’ button tells me ‘firmware is up to date’

When trying to download v2 firmwarr .bin on support website, I need to select the CURRENT firmware version (choose v2 or v04)
And so, downloadable firmware is still version v04

I am about to try to manually install V2 bin, but that looks dangerous …

How can I install version 2 ?

You can’t. One cannot update a first gen single bay My Cloud v4.x firmware to the second gen single bay My Cloud v2.x firmware.
