Ive looked thru like 12 posts with similar prob and its not the same as mine. so if one farther down answered this im sorry.
I bought a new hard drive (wd20eurs) for recording gameplay via fraps. i chose this model since it said its good for video recording. SO i popped it in and fired up the computer. Went into the bios and it shows up there. Continued on into windows and its nowhere to be found. IT is not in device manager. It is not showing up when i go into disk management.
I have tried
- making sure everything in the bios is working/enabled
- swapping known working sata cables
- swapping known working sata ports
- putting into a cokmpletely different computer and same thing
I am so incredibly frustrated at the moment that i just want to smash it against the wall. This is the first piece of hardware ive had any trouble with and im on my fourth ground up computer build. I boght this drive to record fraps gameplay for Titanfall. unfortunately that comes out tues and unless i can get some help from someone here it looks like i wont be getting any gameplay footage on launch day.
