Hard to Safely Remove Hardware

Hi all… Can you give me solution? Hhaahha…

I found it very difficult to make My WD Passport 500GB safely removed from my laptop…

I have followed the instruction on other post ( http://community.wdc.com/t5/My-Passport-for-PC/quot-Safely-Remove-Hardware-quot-won-t-work-on-Passport/td-p/7715)

But, it still can not be removed, so I usually turn my laptop off first, then unplug the wire…

But it take some time, and also this problem occurs many times…

Can anyone explain how to easily safely remove hard ware?

one thing that works for one I have a problem is to logoff then log back on. I haven’t found the cause of mine for sure but think it’s software related to GoodSync. It only happens with one of the 3 external drives.

That’s a Windows Issue, it happens a lot on XP they reduce it on vista and 7 but still happens…
