i have a my passport ultra 2tb while using it randomly disconnects from computer, when checking computer disk management i see that the drive file system is “RAW” !!!
HELP i had 1.5tb of data on it some of which i cant get anywhere else!
anyone know the best software to recover the file system to be as if nothing happened (losing the last few file are okay)
are there any data recover utilities that can recover the drive with all the files in the same folders???
i cant afford going to a data recovery center!! 
A RAW unit means it has lost its file system. Try browsing online for a free file system repair tool. Some members of the WD Community have used TestDisk for said purpose.
