Help, Please!!!
I have spent most of the day looking at videos and reading loads and loads but still can’t find a solution to my issue.
For a couple of months now my WD Cloud has not been showing up on my network, I tried looking at loads of videos and got a lot of advice on how to do it, but nothing. Today, I decided that I wasn’t going to give it.
One thing I notice, I have 2 users on my cloud, both are mine, I just added another one for the sake of it. However, if I did try an access any of my files I could only access my files by using the ‘spare’ user. My main user details did not show anything even though I could sign in.
Anyways today, I got so frustrated that I thought, I was going to delete this second user as its a pain. What I didn’t realise is that i must have created a folder with this user, and when I deleted the user i also deleted this file. I’m devastated as this folder has all my course work and all my documents. I’ve tried reading on how to recover the folder but I’m not finding anything. I came across this forum while searching for a solution.
Can someone please help? a video of a step by step guidance would be fantastic lol if it even exists.
I have managed to solve the issue with the cloud not showing up on the network, I just need to know how to recover my files.
Also, have for some reason re-created another user and the same thing is happening, when I try to log in via the web, I can only see my files when I use the ‘spare’ user profile, can someone please explain why?
Apologies if I haven’t made much sense, i’m not very computer literate, everything I do I try to look up, so I apologise for not using the correct terminology.
