I have a WD passport !TB WDBACX0010BBL-00 that I purchased over 10yrs ago and haven’t used as it wasn’t being recognized by my old laptop any more. Its light will light up and stay solid but no sound from the drive likes its spinning up or not. It doesn’t get recognized by any desk top or laptop at all. doesnt matter if it pc or mac either. I have tried using a standard USB micro to USB as well as the provided USB 3 cable no change. I have tried to down load the WD utility driver 2.0.0.76 and isn’t recognized, WD SES driver setup and the WD spinup and still nothing. I have tried to download WD Discovery for windows which has failed to download.
I have some old medical info and family photos on it that I would like to recover. Any other suggestion wound be great thanks.
