Hi, how do you do a fresh start reset, I would like to start from the beginning on my cloud 2TB. I have forgotten passwords on the accounts and admin account, I cant do anything with it. I don’t have many files and what I do have I’m not bothered with losing anything. I would like to start again and go through things properly instead of rushing into setting everything up and not really taking any notice of what I was doing. Thanks
One can do either a 4 second reset which resets the administrator password back to default (blank) or a 40 second reset which resets most of the My Cloud settings back to default including resetting the administrator password back to “admin” and the password to blank. No user files are lost during either reset.
Thanks for the reply. I will be trying this when I get a chance. Will this be the equivalent of when you take it out of the box for the first time and set it up? will the other user accounts be deleted and only admin left on there which is what I want. Thanks
