How to get My Cloud Home desktop app for Mac?

I’m trying to understand how to install the desktop app for my MacBook Pro. I have installed the WD Discovery app and it seems to be running fine—it sees the drive and I’m logged in.

But the instructions say:
“To use the My Cloud Home Desktop App, you need to install the WD Discovery software, which in turn will install the desktop app. During login and setup of the WD Discovery software, the My Cloud Home desktop icon is created.”

I have no such icon. How do I troubleshoot?
