How to tell what version of OS does my device support

hello, first time poster,
sorry for such a dumb question, but i cannot figure out what version of My Cloud OS my device is running?

how do i find this the version?

  1. from the device web interface, including help/about, no where is the OS version mentioned?
  2. from the device ssh uname -a does not mention it?

the only info i can find is the firmware version

That’s not the “firmware”, that is your OS version. So you’re on OS 5 v5.29.102.

Based on the product page, that is the latest version.

but it actually states “Firmware - Current Version”, and makes no mention of “OS”
