How to use My Book Essential to copy files to new computer

Hi All,

How do I use my ‘My Book Essential’ to copy all of the files from my old XP-SP3 machine to my new Windows 8 machine?

I have already done a full back-up on the old machine. 

If you could provide a few simple instructions I would sure appreciate it :smiley:

Hi cgh_11, if you did a manual backup, you can just Copy/Paste the files back to the Windows 8 PC, if you used Smartware to automatically backup your files, check page 48 of the Smartware manual for the steps.
