Hub Stuck Upgrading Firmware

Need some help folks…  I’m new to the forum, so bare with me…

I turned on my TV the other day and saw that the WDTV Live Hub was stating that it was upgrading firmware but stuck at 14%.  I figured I’d leave it to do its thing, so I turned off the TV and went about my merry way.

I came back a couple of days later it was stuck at that message, it would not respond to anything from the remote, nor the reset button - I had no choice but to pull the power (I know it says not to, but, there was no option and I figured 2 days to upgrade firmware indicated there was a problem).

After the reboot it put up the screen with a red circle and a line through it stating to Insert a USB Drive with Firmware to recover the unit.  I’ve tried the most current firmware as well as all the prior rollback firmware(s) from 3.06.14 back to 2.07.17.  All of them resulted in the same result…  The system boots up, shows my background and states that it is updating the firmware and never progresses past 1%.

The ver of the 2.07.17 rollback that I’m using is:

VERSION=‘3.07.17’
LOCATION=‘wdtvlivehub.bin’
PKG_LOCATION=‘wdtvlivehub.pkg’
ROOTFS2=‘wdtvlivehub.bi2’

HELP!

Hi, there is not a lot you can do after the a firmware installation fails, I would call tech support to see if the can replace it.
