A Serial Number will not help identify the drive … the Serial Number is your Warranty which you use to Register the drive with WD. (so it’s not a good idea to post it on public forum for privacy reasons.)
There should be a Model Number or Part Number on the back of the drive.
If there isn’t, then download WD Diagnostics and it will disaply the Model Number in the software.
