Icon in Network folder wrong after driver download

I have two WD My Cloud boxes and both work fine.  The only problem is on one machine running Windows 7 pro x64, after windows updates the WD My cloud driver the icon in the Network folder goes to the generic piece of paper icon.  Both WD NAS devices work fine from this machine, I can see and access both, and all shares and related items work fine, it’s just the icons for both the WD My cloud devices is wrong.

I can uninstall the driver, and the proper icons come back, but in a few minutes windows updates the drivers again and back to a generic piece of paper looking icon.

I have XP machines and they have no problem with the icons, I have another Win7 (32bit) and it has no icon problem.  It is only on the W7 pro x64 that the icons are not properly displayed.  I have a third (Seagate NAS) on this network and it has no problem on any computer displaying the proper icon.  So there is some issue with the WD driver icons, but I have yet to find a solution.

This is not a critical issues, just an annoyance, so if anyone has a fix, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

I did confirm this is a W7 x64bit issue.  I have another W7 x64 system and it has the same icon issues.

No problem accessing any of the NAS devices, only the icons in the Network folder.
