Is WD My Cloud Home good for Plex?

Hello,

I’m looking for a little NAS that will work just as a Plex Server.

I read a lot of complaints about WDMCH and Plex, so I would like to know better the real situation.

To be clear, I will play Plex on my LG Smart TV which already supports the codec of my videos (mostly H264), so I’m not interested in the transcoding feature, I just need a smooth streaming.

Will it work? I don’t need anything special, just a FAST and SMOOTH streaming, like when I use Plex Server on my laptop.

WD Mycloud is good for that. I use it for streaming Videos on KODI but…When you run out of room and add more Hard Drives on its USB port it gets awful
