Does anyone knows why most Netflix tittles don’t offer subtittles when accessed thru WD TV Live Streaming despite the same subtittles being available in the Netflix Web interface? The firmware is the latest version (1.06.04) and notice that this feature is not totally disabled since it is available for a few tittles.

Could you please mention a movie that suffers from this?
The Web Client uses different encoded streams from NetFlix than the WD’s do (or other players, too.)
Web Client uses Microsoft Silverlight.
This basically means that NetFlix hasn’t converted the streams for some movies to the format the WD uses.
I don’t think that’s the case. I can confirm that a lof of movies that previously had subtitules (e.g. The Resident, The Ward, The New Daughter, Knife Edge, and at least a dozen more) no longer have them, either in the SMP’s interface or the Web interface. It appears that Netflix is having trouble with subtitles right now.
I know because I always enable subtitles when available, since English is not my first language, and I’ve seen dozens of movies in the previous month.
A little more info on this issue…
Roku and PS3 users are also experiencing this problem since yesterday. Netflix is aware of the issue. A lot of users are reporting this problem.

An example is “The Virgin Suicides” which has english subtitles available in both web and android application but not in wd tv.
