currently a Boxee user and ,since they are going down the black hole of **bleep**, I am looking for a replacement. been playing with the ATV3, great interface, not so great with local files, which I have a lot of.
One of the biggest question I have is about the way WD Live hub deals with movie and TV info. If I understand correctly, it has a scrapper that pulls from imdb, thmoviedb or both. how are the manual methods of handling the metadata. can you use nfo files (xml) like on boxee?
You wont get a much better media player for Networks than the Hub, especially if you have lots of files to play.
The inbuiltmetadata is ok, but you have lots of options with apps people have made to get the right info and create xmls and the likes, and TV/Moviesheet themes that you create with any metadata you scrape in Thumbgen.
