Problem: I have my acces denied to my external drive. When I link my external drive to my computer, and then click the folder, a window pops up that says:
"location is not available
F \ is not accessible
access denied"
I have a WD My Passport 2TB external drive.
Computer specs: Windows 10, HP ZBook Studio G5 and my computer is only three months old.
On my old laptop I can still open de external drive!
A possible sollution that I already have tried is changing the security settings but I was not allowed to eventhough I have full administrator rights. I have als downloaded WD Drive Utilities but those scan’s didn’t find anything. Someone suggested doing a CHKDSK, which I did, but “Access denied” still came up.
