I recently bought a WDTV Live Hub and want to hook it up so I can access my files from my laptop. I’ve bought 3 or 4 wifi adaptors from the list but none of them work or the rest of the list of products run are on windows/vista. Does anyone know of a wifi usb adaptor that works with the WDTV and a mac laptop? HELP!
If they don’t work, they’re not on the list.
You need to pay attention to the revision number.
Thanks but its not the version number. None of the ones they offer run Mac OS they only run on windows/vista. So I can’t even buy one.
Was hoping someone with a Mac had a wireless USB and could recommend or if they had a work around.
It doesn’t matter what the USB wireless adaptor was designed for… you don’t need to install anything for it on your computer.
If it’s a supported adaptor (or a supported chipset), then if you plug it in to the WDTV it will be recognized and will work… any unsupported ones, the WDTV does not have the proper open source linux drivers for.
