i have just installed mbl on my network using time machine on my imac.  does a desktop alias/shortcut help to locate mbl on the network?

I use a desktop shortcut on my Windows desktop for quick access to the Mybooklive. On Windows the shortcut simply points to \mybooklive
Not sure how that would work on a Mac though
