I backed up several laptops wirelessly using the WD Smartware. The backups show up on the web page if I go to the Dashboard. But when I try to retrieve from my desktop, plugged into the router with the MBL, only my desktop shows up as an option. The other computers aren’t on the Home page or Retrieve page. And the Retrieve Page doesn’t show the Volume window so I can’t select on of the other computers. I updated the Smartware - no fix. Any suggestions?
Try removing smartware and reapplying the update. You can also browse the MBL and retrieve the data manually.
I already reinstalled the software wtih no luck.
I am not sure how to browse the MBL.
I can see the Public directory that comes with MBL, but can’t see the auto backups.
I do see on the dashboard the computer names and times of the backups, but no way to manually drag/drop to my desktop. Suggestions?
