MCEX2: RAID 1 Drive Failed Now No RAID Configuration

Using a pair of matched WD40EFRX 4TB drives in RAID 1. Life is fine until someone (my son) thumped or dropped the drive. Drive 1 fails first system test. Take EX2 offline, replace drive.

Insert new drive, reboot, no configured RAID volumes. That is odd but perhaps I can create one (not going to commit to that until I know what is going on but I can see what options are offered).

Storage | RAID | Setup RAID Mode button fails to do anything. Look at jquery error codes and it appears that the share list (requested via XMLHttpRequest within the dashboard page) is not found (404 error). Same thing (missing script responses) for Disk Status, too.

Utilities | System Test runs clean but there are no RAID volumes or shares. Factory reset to start over with setting up the RAID…same problem after hard reset.

Firmware: 2.11.142

Any suggestions so I can see the data on the remaining drive and get EX 2 to mirror it again?

Hi, before you replaced the drive, where you able to see the Drive 2 in the dashboard? If you remove drive one, are you able to gain access to your shares?

I have tried drive 2 alone in either drive 1 or drive 2 slot; neither works to see anything. Placing new drive in alone and doing a factory reset gives me no ability to configure RAID (or format drive or anything).
