Media library loosing nas folders

Setup works fine but after the nas goes into sleep mode as all nas due eventually it forgets about them.

To get them back i need to tell it to rescan sources or unplug the device and plug it back in.

Shouldn’t send a request to the device to see if its there before deciding its not?

Anyone else see this?

No, even if your NAS goes to sleep, it should still be “visible” on the network.

If, indeed, your NAS actually shuts down completely and stops talking to other devices, then what you describe should be expected.

I can still acess it correctly from any computer or the dreaded boxee box.

yes, same here. Since the last firmware-update I notice that the NAS-shares sometimes do not show up. Then I go to settings to rescan the particular NAS-shares and after that it shows up again.

I put in a static ip for it to see if this would help.

So far it hasn’t lost them but its early yet.
