Minor issue with Network shares

2 TB MyCloud.

This is minor, but sometimes when I open Mycomputer the network shares on the MyCloud have a red X. However If I click on them everything seems Ok and they change to a green icon. Anyone know why this happens? Is there any way to prevent it?

Windows marks shares which aren’t currently connected with a red X.   When you double click them, the connection is made.

That’s just how Windows does it.

If you want to prevent that, then select “Reconnect at Logon” checkbox when you map the share.

I have selected reconnect a logon and after logon all the shares are green. After some time has elapsed they will show with the red x. The red X means they are disconnected. Clicking seems to reconnect them.

It just seems to be bizarre behavior to me, but not a real problem.
