MOJO FW 2.06.10 (Game Addition)

This is for anyone who has updated to the newest 2.06.10 FW.  I’m not supporting the FW, but I did make an addition to MOJO so that you can add the Game icon to the main menu.

You can download it HERE. 

Just copy the xml to the MOJO folder and the images to the MOJO/image folder.  Then reapply the theme.

If you don’t see the new icons after you reapply the theme, try unplugging the power cord then plugging it back in.

Thanks TW yor work is awesome, but I have te spanish language and Games doesn’t tranlate to spanish !! :cry:

The “Games” text is not a part of the icon.   The text is in the firmwares language translation, so if there is no translation, then it is a firmware issue and you should contact support or post on the firmware thread to have the engineers add the spainish text for what ever would similar to Games.

I don’t speak spanish, but according to the english to spaniish dictionary, I believe it should be “el juego”.  But you would know better than me.:smileyvery-happy:

Thanx for some nice Themes they looks realy stunning compared to the officiel release :smiley:

Unfortunately i havent found out yet how to edit an existing moviesheet. I gues i need to open it somehow from thumgen. I have found out how to create a new sheet from reading about it in this forum, but I havn’t found out how to edit an existing one created to your Theme.

Hey daktylen,

Glad you like the themes.  As I have mentioned though, my themes don’t use moviesheets, only my cover box templates (see HERE), which can be downloaded from the links on Mojo and Voodoo threads.

To add the Cover boxes, using Thumbgen, see THIS post.

Sorry, but no.  As I said, I’m not supporting 2.06.10, there are just to many bugs, and I don’t have a full version of Mojo for this version of the firmware.

Thanks TW for the answer, the correct word for Games is #Juegos# I hope in the new firmware the fix this. thanks anyway

Your welcome. 

There are 2 possible ways to add “Juegos” to the games icon though.

  1. Open the “inc_rv_home_menu_node.xml” and change this line:

  <button valkey=“RV_HOME_MENU_GAMES” name=“Games” normal_bg=“image/main_games_icon_n.png” focused_bg=“image/main_Game_icon_f_001.png” disabled_bg=“image/main_games_icon_n.png” animation_format_str=“image/Games_icon_%03d.png” animation_num=“1” />

To this line:

  <button valkey=“RV_HOME_MENU_GAMES” name=“Juegos” normal_bg=“image/main_games_icon_n.png” focused_bg=“image/main_Game_icon_f_001.png” disabled_bg=“image/main_games_icon_n.png” animation_format_str=“image/Games_icon_%03d.png” animation_num=“1” />

The part in green is the only thing that needs to be changed.

If that doesn’t work, try deleting “Games” (leave the " " in the line), then open the image for the games icon “main_Game_icon_f_001.png” and add the text direclty to the icon.

Hey Tinwarble i noticed that in your mojo theme that when you pause/rewind/fastforward that the poster is mishaped. Is that a bug or does it look like that because you made the images larger ?

Which version of Mojo?   This is just the Games Addition thread.

Also, what do you mean distorted?  Also where is it distorted, on the play bar?

Sorry i posted in the wrong thread. I’m using MOJO 1.08.06. It seems like its stretched long. I’ll try to take a picture to show you.

No need for a pic, I know what you are talking about.   If it’s stretched long, it’s most likely because you are not using my Coverbox templates to make your thumbnails.

Mojo will work with out my coverboxes, but you will get things like this happen just because it was designed to use my coverboxes.
