Hi there. I have the WD hub with latest firm. I have been struggling getting the folder.jpg to refresh. It keeps pulling in a old version. I have searched and tried everything.
I have renamed the folder, deleted the thumb directory. The only solution I have is to make a new folder and move my movies.
There must be a place where the WD stores a cache based on the folder name or something. I have even deleted the folder and the thumbs in the thumb dir, rebooted, and remade the directory. It still pulls in the old jpg.
Very frustrated with this. If I ever want to change the folder image, I wont be able to.
Any sugestions?
1st suggestion … post in the correct forum
http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-Hub-Discussions/bd-p/wdtvlivehub
2nd suggestion … delete the .wd_tv/thumb folder and the .miocrawler_cache folder (if you have one) then reboot
3rd suggestion … clear the Media Library eg. Setup > System > Media Library > Clear Media Library

Thanks for the reply. My bad on the wrong forum. I will repost there.
I tried suggestion 2 already. The old image keeps returning.
I will try suggestion 3.

no probs, i’ve notified a moderator to move this post (so you don’t have to repost)
also, a 4th suggestion … ‘rename’ the folder eg. “Movies” to “My Movies” and then reboot
(i know it’s a pain, but not as much as “moving” the contents … also you can rename the folder back to Movies after the reboot and the folder.jpg image will be the “new” one)
Thanks.
I already tried your suggestion. Did not work. When I renamed it back to the original folder name, the old image came creaping back. Thats when i figured the image must be cached somewhere. That is when I deleted .microcrawler folder. So I ended up renaming the folder and moving all the files.
I’ll have to hope I never want to change it again. I’ll play with it again tomorrow.
