Im currently trying to mount a iscsi lun to my pr4100. The iscsi lun is located on a qnap nas and from windows I can map to it perfectly fine. However on my pr4100 it sees the iscsi target and lun, you can select it and it shows up in the volume virtualisation but just says “Disconnected”
The QNAP shows nothing connected and you try to connect it and nothing happens. Like i said I know this is working fine and my windows test proves it. I’ve tried with and without chap.
Any ideas? Need to get this mounted so I can use it as a local share on the WD for streaming.
hmm i’ll give that a go but I don’t plex will like a mapped network drive. It seems to only want to use local storage. Shame this straight forward iscsi target wont connect.
Plex doesn’t know it’s a mountpoint.
It could be that Plex insists on using a subdirectory of /shares … in that case, simply create /shares/qnap instead of /mnt/qnap
