Moving subtitles lower?

At first: Hi =)

Second: Sorry for my bad english. just what I learned in school =)

Now to my problem: I loved it to watch my favourite series on my pc with german subtitles. .mkv file + .srt Subtitle and with hdmi cable to my LCD. But now I buyed this nice media player (newest firmware installed) to “replace” the whole pc thing.

And now my problem is, that the subtitles are much too high =( I was used to watch the subtitles at the bottom of the screen. Now the subtitles are displayed almost “middle” of the screen and i found no way to “correct” them by myself.

I read about some solutions (some in this board):

  1. Convert the .srt to .**bleep** (Sub Station Alpha". I read this should fix it.     - Doesnt work =(

  2. Correct them by myself in the WD Player Options. How?

  3. Wait for a fix (Firmware update). - Is there someting in work?

  4. “Hardcode” the subtitles into the .mkv files. - Doesnt work for me and too much work for a total newbie…

I hope someone can help me finding a solution, that the subtitles appear more/lower to the bottom.

Regards,

Dezzert

As I understand it, you should be able to move it with the up/dwn arrows? It works for me, except that the subtitles are embedded within the file.

Olol… Never thought that it`s that simple… I thought and thought and searched and searched… BAM! Just use the arrows Oo

I feel myself a little bit stupid now… But really thx for that, i would been searching after a solution till death if you hadn`t posted that^^

in the latest beta, the position of the subtitles is now saved. very good feature.
