My Book doesn't work anymore How to retrieve data

Hi, I have been using my My Book for 2 years now, and all of a sudden it stopped working. Power comes on, but my PC doesn’t recognise anymore. Changed the Cable, same thing… Plugged into other PCs same thing. How do i retrieve my data… it has years of backups…
