I have no idea what happened but nothing I do will restart my my book for mac. I’ve got a new power cord and new usb cord. it just won’t start.
Thoughts on what to do next.

WD My Book (for Mac)
just got a reply from WD - happy to replace - but the data will not be recovered if replaced. why would anyone use these darned drives if they fail unexpectedly.
