First, i would like to say how impressed i’m about your external Drive ( USB connection ), i just bought this Live Book 2 TB, regarding to my expericend last time with USB Connection, so i’m tried this Lan Connection,…how supprised I’m this product cant run as my expectation, the speed for coping only 11 mbps ( Max Using wifi or LAN cable are same speed )
So I decide to return or refund to the store i was bought it 5 days ago,Guess what…Hahhahaha…they wont accept my reason…
I need to know from WDC Company if the store wont accept my reason for returning the product, can U tell me what i must do with this WD LIVE 2 TB ( i can’t used it bcs very slow and poor conection)
Speed depends on every part of your site. Not only mybook and computer, but also your modem/router/switch.
If your router does not support 1Gb/s LAN (most of cheaper ones don’t), it might be the problem, because lower standard is 100Mb/s = 12,5MB/s and it never meets this teoretical speed, so it might give your 11MB/s.
In other words, there is probably nothing wrong with your mybook live, you just have to buy more expensive router.
also i almost forgot, about the router , i’'ll ready try the TPLINK Router wifi Gigabit, still no different…any one expr same problem with me ?? any solution …
