HI everyone,

i need some help please??

I have bought a MBL 3TB however i only have a netbook without a cd drive so i cant install the software. i have tried to find the software on the WD site but all i can get is the IOS Image?? I trying to connect it via my wireless network. my netbook sees the drive as does my SAMSUNG TV.

Any help with intsalling the sofatware and enabling me to release the full potential is gratefully appreciated.

Well, first off, let me ask a question:

  1.  You don’t really NEED the software (I’ve never installed it) to get full use of the drive.  So, is there some specific feature of the software you want to use?

  2.  The SMARTWARE software is also on the drive itself, under PUBLIC/SOFTWARE and you can install it from there.

i have installed the softare but it is no saying unable to connect to the server??

any ideas?

Also why doesnt the MBL Dashboard work? when you select view device webpage?

This is what i have got so far?

My computer see the MBL IN THE NETWORK AS A STORAGE DEVICE “MY BOOK LIVE”

MY TV ONLY SEES "[MyBookLive]TwonkyMedia

i have placed .avi files in the SHARED MOVIES but when i search on my TV its= find nothing. Getting frustrated with it all now WD not user friendly and the dashboard link is not working!!!
