I recall reading that the External 8TB external must be set up to be in a vertical position so the drive is adequately vented. Can the Drive be set horizontally if both vents are open and receiving air? Actually it would seem the flow of air is not full when the drive is resting on the 2 rubber legs and only gets the benefit of a single vent, the other be blocked by the e.g Desk, Pad etc.
