Amble Action: the RMA operator wrote down my number and told me the would call me back to see if they can cover my HDD which is in limited warranty with the seal intact , which they didn’t.
achieva Malaysia refused to courier my RMA request saying they only specialize in internal drives.
Eternal Asia didn’t even pick up the phone. so I mailed my faulty HAD to the address requested by the RMA case [ [ removed] :

Respose:
I did not update to Mavricks, my osx is still 10.7.5. I only updated the new firmware which WD recommended.
I did try many outlets and other adaptors but it had no effect, the HDD drive would not even make any noise. I have now sent it in for RMA, #, case # . if you believe that the HDD can be fixed without formatting the drive please use your influence to contact my designated premailer address here :

I mean really guys?you think I have not tried other outlets and adapters? how silly do you think your end user are? its clearly your new fimware that is causing the damage, you simply did not test it before you released it because the Mavricks issue is getting out of hand and WD needed a quick fix or to show a good face. I will wait and see if these “concerned” support members will actually do anything or just pass me useless pretty apology letters . your apoligies don’t mean anything to me WD, fix my HDD with out formatting the drive if you really care, but I am not holding my breath here.
best case scenario my RMA will actually be completed and I will recieve another apology letter from WD.
next time I am buying a Seagate or and iosafe hdd,at least they don’t release and recommend malicious software to their registered custmors via an offical email.
