Heya everyone,
I have bought WD My Book World Edition 2 White a few days ago.
I use Edimax BR-6424n as Wireless router, i have connected the WD to LAN port and i use Windows 7 x64 Home edition, plus i have Windows XP on other PC.
The problem is while checking in my router for active DDCD clients there is just my PC’s and can’t make WD receive the IP. there fore i can’t discover him using WD discovery tool. I have read through many forums but nothing helped. I begin to think that my wireless router isn’t good for WD, why can’t he assign an IP address to My Book??
Please help!
