Recently my MBWE (white lights) just stopped working without any notice in the span of about 4 hours. Referring to the lights on the from of the unit, initially the lights would sweep up and down the unit, during this phase, I could still access the drive including the attached USB external drive (My Book Pro Edition 250 GB) , just not the partitioned X and Y drive locations. I reset the device and unplugged it to no avail. the LED lights now just show lit up at the bottom 1/4-1/3 of the LED strip and do not change. I cannot access anything on the drive now. What are my options as far as trouble shooting? Again the drive didnt give any indication that it was failing, I had just powered down my computer and 4 hours later powered the computer back up and at that point could not access the drives. The drive is connected to a D-Link router and a surge protector.
Hi, check is you have another compatible powersupply that you can use, if you don’t call tech support.
