My Cloud 4TB backing up my SSD C: not my image storage on D:

The My Clound unit is for backing up my primary notebook.

I’ve got Smartwave installed on the and set the schedule but tonight I noticed it’s only looking at my system’s 120 GB SSD and not the 1TB drive where I store my actual image files.

How do I add the D: drive to what is being backed up?

Also can I direct it to focus on a specific directory structure?

I keep a large catalog active so clients can view and buy images going back a few years.

I track photos by quarters so I have a current working folder and then more them to a folder by season and year. I only take a few hundred a week but it adds up. The cameras runs a 10,000 images counter and I roll these to often to leave in one giant folder.

I lost a back-up drive and then a main system in December and just barely escaped impacting customers.

Thanks,

Phil

pjagur,

By default, WD SmartWare will only select one data source volume in the Home Tab.

Compatible volumes will be displayed in the “Backup” Tab in File Backup mode (As opposed to category backup mode). If additional source volumes are compatible you’ll be presented with the option to mark them and include them, as well as specific folder structures.
