when i log into the interface and click on SHUT DOWN DEVICE it does not turn off, the disk stop showing on file explorer but the device light stays constantly on and when i finally pull the electricity cord from it i hear the sudden stop of the spinning disk.
this issue was brought by the last update, my unit used to shut down properly when i shut it down so please fix it soon for god sake otherwise pulling the electricity cord to force a shut down on a spinning disk repeatedly will wear and damage it.
i’m logged in as the device owner and the problem still exist.
i discovered something, if i do a reboot the device and wait for it to reboot then shut it down it does shut down, but if i directly shut it down it does not shut down.
Same for me, I’m writing from Mexico. In the past few days my app was updated and I think my device too perhaps, and now I cannot shutdown my device, it’s annoying seeing it on all the time, it’s a waste of electricity when I’m not using it.
