Hi,
some time ago I’ve bought external HDD with LAN interface. That time WD Discovery software was available for hardware. Unfortunately, WD stopped to offer this feature (i.e. mapping an external drive in windows system).
Is there a possibility to buy subscription of WD Discovery to re-enable these features?

Western Digital Product Software Downloads (wd.com)
Support for WD Discovery Desktop for the My Cloud Home ended in June 2023.
You can still download and install it, but it won’t authenticate for the My Cloud Home.
This was a simple matter of economics because this was a free service that would have otherwise cost hundreds of dollars a year, and many users were abusing it with dozens of desktop users for one cloud device which used too much bandwidth for the WD servers.
The conclusion for Western Digital was probably that few ‘Home’ users were willing to pay for this service.
