My Cloud Home will no longer sync any files from my documents and photo files
Previously when choosing folder in Finder and clicking on Sync to MYCloud a small icon appeared indicating sync was taking place - this no longer happens

@JulieK please obtain the WD Discovery Logs and open a support case this us and provide the logs

I had the same problem on my Macbook Air after WD discovery updated. I rebooted and then the sync option was back as it was before. Have you tried rebooting the Mac?
