Sorry for this it will be long, HOPE i didn’t lose my data!!!
I have the My Cloud Mirror set up in RAID 1. one of my drives went bad (2TB) so I replaced it, thought it would be good to get something bigger. so I put in a 6TB Drive. all went well, after it coppied over i put replaced the good drive with another 6TB drive, and it copied over fine too. All is good but the system is still only showing 2TB. So I went to and clicked to expand the RAID. it didn’t do anything. accept it on the disk status it said to replace Disk #1. I couldn’t get that to go away. so I did a system only reset through the utility to see if that would clear it; it didn’t. the new 6TB drives then started to show volume data errrors. I didn’t like the way this was going so I decided to just go back to the origional config for now.
When I plugged the origional drives back in, it didn’t recognize ANY Raid volumes! what did I do? any suggestions on how to get it back?
