My cloud won’t power on

My cloud was unplugged by my son prior to bad weather. When I went to power back on it wouldn’t power up. Thought power cord was bad so I replaced it with one from WD. I did a 40 second reboot per the WD website. No luck. Any suggestions? I purchased this less than a year ago and was thinking it is a reboot issue?

What, if anything, are the LEDs on the front and back doing?

Take a look at the User Manual, Appendix C, P. 90. See if that helps.

Is there any activity at all? Is the HDD spinning? Does the device get warm if left plugged in?

Have you checked that the PSU is actually supplying volts?
Have you checked that the wall socket is okay?
Have you checked the router ports & cable?

If there was bad weather, the modem/router may have been damaged, if it wasn’t unplugged as well. As might the MyCloud is the ethernet cable wasn’t unplugged during the bad weather.
