My passport external harddisk covered by the WD rugged case. Yesterday my WD passport harddisk fallen down from less than one feet height and that time my harddisk covered by WD rugged case. I connect my WD Passport harddisk to PC but it failed to connect. External light is on but it is not connect to my PC. I took it and put it near to my ear and it’s not functioning. When I just plug in my WD Passport harddisk to PC, a strange sound inside but it just last for 5 second. The strange sound like this… DER…DER… DER…DER…
my external light doesn’t blink blink like normal. May I know what is the problem with myWD Passport harddisk? Casing failure or my WD Passport harddisk totally spoiled? I need someone to help me out here because inside contain a lot important data of mine.
